  1. Today
  2. Hello everyone. I'm still walking in the fog, I can'understand why these three buttons don't work. "Start" and "gamble" are not important but "take a lot" is very important and the previous owner's son confirmed to me that it was worked when the machine was in the bar. 😵 When I play, if I get more than 50 points (you win a watch if you get 50 points), at the end of the game, the button "take a lot" lights on, a bell rings and never stops ringing because I can't get my gift. If I insert another coin into the coin mech, a new game stars but the points remain in memory, so, at the end of the game, the bell rings again and again. I tested the buttons and the coils, replaced IC4, tested TR32 to TR38, TR1 to TR7 (the coils are powered by P2-9, P2-10, P2-13, P2-14, P2-17, p2-18 and P2-21) and they all work. If you ever have an idea, I would be very happy to read it. Thanks a lot 👍
  3. Yep agreed the 20p play £150 game is much better .use to own that version .
  4. Yes its on 20p play £150 jackpot most wins are double and plays a much better game , you move a wire in the machine to alter the jackpot and price per play

  6. MPS came after SYS80, didn't it?
  7. Great capture .I assume you ve got the £150 rom set in the machine ?
  8. I have a impact service manual. It does indeed relate to the hopper.
  9. The GALs have their own internal fuses which most manufacturers burn at the end of programming to stop people copying the chip. I couldn't tell you if they were in your particular tech, you could be lucky though? In earlier JPM CPU cards (SYS80) the 14k version had a PAL which wasn't protected but even earlier (MPS1) was, work that one out!

  12. So we talking impact? I believe the gals can be copied if we are talking impact 1. If this relates to crystal security chips then no. Work was done on mpu4 games to disable the check sum security check, and thus make the roms themselfs copy able. It's a long process of trial and error changing one character at a time until it booted in the emulator. Unfortunately you can just decompile software to see the source code. You can use AI to get a virtual ideas of what the code my look like but, it's not helpful unless you had the original source code. That's just my vague understanding of the issue, I could be wrong.
  13. Thanks for the information, how do I know if the fuse has blown?
  14. I think it will depend on whether the GAL security fuses have been blown. If they have then you're stuffed.
  15. Hello friends, I have a question, is there any software that will help me edit data on the JPM program card? And another question is it possible to clone GAL on the program card?Thank you
  16. Not sure if that's the Gottlieb pinball System80?
  17. Found this on an old p.c maybe it's this? system 80 test.zip

  19. how is your technical knowledge? and can you post a picture of the mpu3 motherboard. clear pictures of the printed circuit board.(pcb) so we can possibly have a look. it could be anything.
  20. Replacing the electrolytic capacitors could be the solution. Even though they look good, they dry out and lose value
  21. good evening wanted to find somewhere to have fun with retro emulators of games etc looks like an epic site thanks for the memories fruitymunchkin

    Pluto6 dead

Pluto6 are programmed to match the manufacturer. A pluto6 for Astra will not work with a betcom CF card. They need to go to HEBER for programming which is not cheap. i know people who have swapped and transplanted chips from one board to another with no success. I’ve not known anyone to get round this but would like to know if possible.
