  3. Hello. Do you remember Droopy's line ? You know what, I'm happy.... The machine is good working, all buttons are now active 😂😂😂. I searched for a long time, I could see roughly where the problems came from but my knowledge of electronics was too weak to understand. So I did many tests. Do you remember the drawing about the 7 buttons, the contacts for stop 1, 2 and 3 and collect risk are between P1- 29, P1-25, P1-32 P1- 16 and P1-1 and for start, gamble, take a lot between P1-32, P1-29, P1-25 and P1-2. P1-1 was good working but not P1-2. So I tried to reverse P1-1 and P1-2, and made many other tests and ultimatly, I removed IC25 (CD4538) and the seven buttons started towork fine. Now I can even test the machine with the switches B8 or B2, even the coils.... I ordered new CD4538 and I hope the machine continue to work well with a new IC25.

  5. Hi does anyone have a front to back max measurement on the JPM linear cabinet? Its the pluto6 cab and the game is fanaztec

  7. Ok, I understand, thank you, can you also recommend an emulator to launch and run the bin file with the program?:
  8. Yeah I was after that but already sold sadly. I'm in the market for a cheap Scorpion 1 machine to use for board repairs if anyone sees one come up. Not sure I can stand another global club though lol.
  9. It looks like a memory backup board. The COP499 is a CMOS memory chip. The ILD74 is an optocoupler.
  10. I have not found any information about thse boards, it's worying .... Here is the diagram of the little board. Does anyone knows what this board is for ?
  11. I have had this for 25 years and now suddenly the sound has a problem . The reels and Hi Lo gable sounds are all fine but its just the sound of the voice in later stages of the game as it progresses are missing . Any hel appreciated . Maybe the Tantalum capacitors perhaps?
  12. I am based in Cornwall UK and own a Barcrest Empire games fruit machine
  13. Hi . I am a time served TV engineer in UK and have owned this one for 25 years or more. Its been fine but I suddenly have no sound on the mid to end parts of the game. The initial sound is fine for reel spin and Hi/Lo gamble etc but the cowboy sort of "YeeeHa" is missing Any pointers appreciated I am thinking maybe tantalums as I had a similar problem on my Tenneage Mutant Hero Turtle arcade game and chaging the 4.7ufs cured it
  14. Thanks for the pic, This board sadly, is not compatible with my machine.
  15. Forgotten to reply! here it is. it came out of a then working bgt max a million!
  16. OK, well it's obviously doing something different so let's explore and see if we can get deeper into it.🤞 Normally with Ace games you open the door and then operate switch B8 (doesn't matter whether it's on or off as it's just the operation of it that puts it in test mode) you then get a sort of short bell sound. The Cancel button adds 1 to the test number but in your case it does nothing so we can assume that the rest of the test sequences aren't available with this software. (Assuming the CANCEL button is working) I'm looking at some other manufacturers who used Ace boards (PCP) and they used A8 but you didn't get the bell sound. You then pressed CANCEL then START then the display would show 1t, 2t, 3t etc every time you hit START and CANCEL. The other switch setting to check is B2, if it's on at boot up do you get a 78% showing on the display? Nothing else will run until the switch is restored and rebooted. I can't remember now if you tested that all the buttons were changing the state of the input chips IC31-34 going to IC37? It would be good to elminate that if you haven't already. It's an interesting machine thats for sure.
  17. Hello. Here are the poor results of the tests. - When B8 is "on" and the door is open, there is an audible alarm and there is a flashing message "clear" which disappears when B8 is off. All the buttons are inactive. - When the door is open, all the switches "off" if I press the button "stop 1" , it counts from 0 to 6 if I press the button "stop 2" it tests the music if I press the button "stop 3" it counts from 0 to 6 The other buttons do nothing. - It's the same when all the switches are on (except B8 that must remain on)
  18. Hello. Thank you Bob, I will try to do so. The 16 switches are off but I have no documentation about them. I will try B8 "on" and door open. 👍
  19. Do you know if there is a 'test' mode with that software? With the usual ACE games it's normally back door open and switch B8. Once in test mode you will be able to confirm all the switches are working, in fact all the i/p's and o/p's. If that software doesn't have a test mode you could always use one of the ACE games as there's documentation available which would help.
  20. Looking in ROM 3 shows... 'COPYWRITE RETAINED BY FBN ELECTRONIC SYSEMS LTD' I can't find anything on them on the web?
  21. That's what becoming an old bloke does for you I must think a bit more before I write.
  22. Hello. Here are the files of the prom of the INTERPLAY MPU unit iss-b. fichiers.zip
  23. Hello everyone. I'm still walking in the fog, I can'understand why these three buttons don't work. "Start" and "gamble" are not important but "take a lot" is very important and the previous owner's son confirmed to me that it was worked when the machine was in the bar. 😵 When I play, if I get more than 50 points (you win a watch if you get 50 points), at the end of the game, the button "take a lot" lights on, a bell rings and never stops ringing because I can't get my gift. If I insert another coin into the coin mech, a new game stars but the points remain in memory, so, at the end of the game, the bell rings again and again. I tested the buttons and the coils, replaced IC4, tested TR32 to TR38, TR1 to TR7 (the coils are powered by P2-9, P2-10, P2-13, P2-14, P2-17, p2-18 and P2-21) and they all work. If you ever have an idea, I would be very happy to read it. Thanks a lot 👍
  24. Yep agreed the 20p play £150 game is much better .use to own that version .
  25. Yes its on 20p play £150 jackpot most wins are double and plays a much better game , you move a wire in the machine to alter the jackpot and price per play
