  1. Rich has come across some test ROMs, lord knows where he finds all this stuff! I haven't tried any of these chips as yet so they are unknown as to their function. 13C_TEST.BIN This one is labelled 13C TEST 101 and it's on a 2716 chip. BASIS_PR.BIN This one is labelled SC11 39199P BASIS.PR BARCREST 1000-77FF (The first characters could be 5C 17?) it's on a 8516 chip. SIEM_TST.BIN This one I don't think has anything to do with fruities as it's labelled TEST PROM SIEM and all it contains is the ASCII character set repeated. It's also on a 2532 chip so nothing to do with MPU1? I'm hoping to try out the first two when I get the MPU1 going that's currently on the workbench, so will report back if I find anything.

  2. Well f**k me,that's it!!! Back in 1984 i lived down Brighton i would be 11 years old and for those that know west street it was full of arcades and i always use to play on this machine and ever since getting into FME and joining mecca i look thought countless pictures for anything that could jog my memory, all i could remember about it was its small and it was 5 plays for 10p. So with not much info trying to ask the community and get an answer was second to none (it would be like trying to find a picture of Maygays Rio Gambler). But,well thats it the machine that after all these years of looking at endless photos to find this machine and know that i wasn't going mad,and as a youth i did play this thing and not dream. Many thanks for the pictures and the video so many memory's and nice to see the roms getting dumped maybe one day see a ploggy DX. Thank you and a nice find.

  3. Get a de soldering tool.About £15 and well worth it.This tool looks like a soldering iron but has built in solder sucker.Saves time and reduces the chance of damaging pcb from over heating.

  4. Brilliant fella. I didnt forget you helped me out with some images before mate. I might get this done tonight for you is the background that colour or is it a true black. I’ll try to redo the whole panel, that way it will look like one piece. What are the natural colours? Black background red lettering and gold bordering? Like I said might get a chance this evening, if I do I will upload to this thread Richie, cheers dude J
