  3. if you have a alpha display on your mpu3 machine and a battery fitted to your board you can program your " line writer / alpha display to say whatever you wish and it will remember it"

Next! no 4 forgot to take a 'before' pic, but this one must have sat upright in a machine as the rot pattern on this one was from the battery down to the bottom socket, not from the battery across the board as in previous repairs! so again the usual, remove components in the affected area, remove the solder resist, patch up any tracks that are or look a bit damaged! this board had both sides affected and had to be done! then the solder resist. New components in this board was one ic socket for the GAL chip on the right and replacement of both GAL programmed chips as both was missing on this board! All good!! another winner!!
