Mine arrived today! so put another suspected blown rom put in the wrong way round in it's life! sure enough its got the melted internal wire! bit more zoom on the chip die! can read the numbers on the die! it is better when using eyes rather than a camera phone! and finally a smd chip I soldered on (epoch board) this is going to be great in making sure the joints flow good! bit closer!

The varta will probably be on the romcard.... The Coincell on the main Mpu will probably be the one that is flat.

I guess I should have learned when I loaned 2 x mpu4 boards to help out, I kept asking for them back and eventually one was actually sold in a machine he sold on eBay!! Of course it was marked up as mine so the person that bought the machine split and sold the mpu4 for a lot more!! Again I never got back the other mpu4 board I loaned either!!! Guess I should have learnt then but still got caught out with the epoch mpu as STILL tried to help out!! The crunch came when he gave out the erio multi game chips I said not to!! So we are no longer friends and yet again I lost out on loosing repaired working boards!! It’s been over a year now since the fall out and still I have never (and sure I never will) get back things loaned in good faith expecting to get them back!! then people wonder why I don’t do things for others! I now just do things for myself!!
