  1. Back to the old-school with this one. A fantastic old JPM lo-tech machine called Hi Ho Silver. Set to the classic £4.80/20p. On the system 5 tech. I remember playing this all the time when I was younger, and playing it again on the emulator brings it all back. A great suck, and streak machine that JPM liked to do back then. Expect a good four, or five repeats on the jackpot when the time is right. Unfortunately there is a slight issue on this when you get the jackpot on the Red/Blue Sevens. There's a bit of slowdown, mainly because all the lamps that flash during the jackpot sequence are 'Blended'; which has a big effect on the speed. The issue only happens when you scale the layout, down, on smaller monitors. If you play it at full size, there's no slowdowns. Another oddity is the lamps on the buttons. They sometimes light, erratically, and I'm not sure why. It might be hold-hints, or an emulator issue. All the credit in the World must go to Paulgee. If it wasn't for him, and Jonno, this machine might never have got emulated. Not only did Paulgee send me the new rom dumps (that Jonno kindly dumped for him) from Paul's own machine, he also sent me reel images/order, and a video of the lamp sequence which helped my an huge amount in getting it completed. High-fives all around! Use MFME6.1 to play. Full list of credits are: Jonno: Dumping roms. Paulgee: Offering roms to be dumped from his own machine, plus reel images/order and lamp sequence video. SPA: Flier that was used. Shortcuts are: Hold/Nudge 1 - 1 Hold/Nudge 2 - 2 Hold/Nudge 3 - 3 Hold/Nudge 4 - 4 Cancel/Take - ` or T Start - Space 20p Token - 9 £1 Insert - 0 Enjoy this great JPM once again! Hi Ho Silver DX.zip

  8. Here's a base layout, if anyone wants to have a dabble with it. Can't get rid of the meter error when entering coins, even though I've put the button number (29) in the configuration. Chris needs to have a look at it and get it configured properly. Don't think it's an emulator issue. This N That.zip

  9. Couple of things I want to point out here so they don't become an issue 1: the photos were really, really bad. The clarity was ok but the flash burn was awful and the machine was very dusty.. when hit with flash areas of the machine that should have been black were turned light grey. Now because of this the lamping in places looks washed out. there wasnt alot I could do as recoloring things would have then left me with all different kinds of shades.. I cannot replicate the gradient that was hand drawn using a computer so I had to use the burn tool to darken those areas. Sadly photoshop is a little bit too clever and when they are lit they go back to being grey. 2: I try my best not to make mistakes.. I have alot of experience DXing now and usually when something appears 'wrong' I have usually spent hours and hours trying my hardest to fix it, sometimes some things cannot be fixed so please bear this in mind.. I have spent *weeks and weeks* on this and have done my level best. Im not really in the mood for someone to tell me they could have done better or would have done x or y differently.. hey, if thats the case cool. Ill upload the pics and you can have a go yourself Criticism in certain instants can be totally and utterly misplaced and clumsy. Im not having a go but for example I have heard mention that my lamps appear to bright.. well not to me they dont, and with my monitor thats how they come out.. they look fine to me I cannot fix things that I cannot have any way of even seeing. Please always remember this, that I have tried fucking hard on every DX I do, I dont half ass things its not my nature so it can be very upsetting when things are pointed out that I cant even see or could do little about. I did try on this DX to tone down the lamps but then they go all froggy and I cant fucking stand froggy lamps. So with that firmly in mind I present my best effort on Gold mine.. the only 4 quid mpu3 machine I think I have ever seen (although its 1am and I have been awake since 10am yesterday) so I could well be wrong Anyway, here she is.. Enjoy FFS lol P.S even with its shortcomings its still 10000000000000000000000000x better than the last one Goldmine1280DX.zip
