2.1 / 2.8 REEL 1 - REEL 8 Opto tab missing/faulty, Mother board.
2.9 REEL DISCONNECTED Reel disconnected,Loom O/C, Mother board.
4.1* REFILL Refill keyswitch made.
4.2* RESET On board reset switch operated.
4.3* BUTTON Button stuck on power up.
4.4 DIRECT INPUT % Key missing, Mother board.
4.5 B/DOOR OPEN Back door open
4.7 C/DOOR OPEN Cash door open
* = Event code only. N.B. In the case of *4.3 the machine will on power up show the code and illuminate the stuck button for a short period of time before continuing to run in the normal manner.

Any other code with a prefix of 9 indicates a fault on the mother or processr board, or software
