here is a little project i have done for road hog mad ,the 20p solinide was not firing because there was print damage from a leaking battery ,so repaired all tracks and replaced all the transistors ,now board is up and running again .hope this helps someone out who has the same problem

Andrew, yes but you'll need a slight mod. I'll send you a PM. Well it's amazing what a good nights sleep does for you. Back on the case this morning I found there were some dodgy joints on my scratch test rig, one of them was the door switch and of course the software needs to know the door is closed before it will write to RAM. As soon as that was sorted, no more 'Check battery' errors. The next one on the bench is all lamps going out after a short while. It hasn't made an appearance yet but I'm hoping it will. Watch this space.

Wow at last got the machine working thanks to Tony and a bit of good fortune can’t thank you all enough for all the help and advice turns out the game card was faulty. They tend to have surplus stock from factories aswell such as geared motors,solar pannels,displays,fan blades etc,normally in boxes in the window.This thread has set me on now to pay a visit.

I'm sure I've seen Scorpion 3 mentioned before, it was a short lived technology used in foreign machines.
