    Trust me it doesn't think twice about taking a tenner off you without a jp on occasions or more then other times it's quite generous. Just love those early mpu3 sounds and the cab style .had so many memories of them when they came out .

    Well well well, looks like you are spot on, checked the fuse holder and it didn't seem great so went in behind to loosen the lock nut and low and behold one of the wires was hanging off, looks like it has been on the way out for quite a while, looking well corroded. It wasn't even attached. I have a spare which i will attach tomorrow, and that should be that! I will let you know when it's done! Cheers Louie for the pointer.

    Well I think you will have to do some faultfinding, no one is going to be able to guess which lamp transistor to change! The sound crackle could also be anything! Might not even be on the program card, again it’s a guess!!

    Finally finished got this old girl finished..nice Casino crazy style machine originally cost me £25! I'm happy with how it's turned out. I think colour works ok 👌 Ready to rinse it... Thanks again Rob Moore for the Cup card repair and Lewis B for helping me out with a few bits.

    Ahh now i get it! The Phoenix mk1 had lower glass just under the button panel? I owned ss in this version. The phonix mk2 would this be the 1 with 3 red lamps just above the pay out tray on the right, like around the town etc? Then yes I've seen ss And played it on £6 token, then £8 token down rank amusements at Devon cliffs haven in 95/96 Thanks player for your help on cab build names!

    Awesome pics John!! Thanks for sharing!! I like the Dutch ones seeing them in between the pics 😉 Your top box testing machine was made of 1Dutch multiplayer fruitmachine. (those triple players with the large top box) These are the more notorious games and for the heavy gamblers. Some had a jackpot of € 8000,- !! 🙄
