Sorry Stef only just seen your reply .Yeah I can take a load.of pics of my double top if it help s you .that stuff reel issue I've had with mine .you can disassemble the motor from the casing and free it up using contact spray .it does work. Just don't get it all over the windings. Let me know if you want any pics .

Digging into this more- here's a comparison (they obviously thought blue was a better colour to switch too aswell lol). Ive never owned or played a Ceaser so only just found out the links.Shame if this got your Emu guys hopes up....

Hi all, I'm an Australian expat from the UK, living in Adelaide, South Australia. General electronic and mechanical engineer who has two non-working JPM System 80 fruit machines.

I dragged the two fruit machines over here to Australia from the uk!

First thing you need to check is does it come out of RESET? Right hand LED on the I/O board. If it does then it's likely the CPU board is bad so you'll need to investigate that. The faults here can be many and multiple mostly caused by that dreaded battery. Things to check/ rectify are corroded IC sockets, corroded tracks, faulty RAM, bad CPU etc, the list is pretty long. If it doesn't come out of RESET then you need to investigate the I/O board to find out why.

Well put in a new fuse holder And connectedback up, and we have sounds and lights again, and pay out's are all working, thanks again for all the advice without it, the machine would still not be working. Cheers all. 20190217_114334.mp4

Finally finished got this old girl finished..nice Casino crazy style machine originally cost me £25! I'm happy with how it's turned out. I think colour works ok 👌 Ready to rinse it... Thanks again Rob Moore for the Cup card repair and Lewis B for helping me out with a few bits.

Being as it's a bit quiet here.................... Well I've had quite a productive day in the workshop trying to work out some code to make the tester easier to use. I've dug out my trusty Arduino yet again and managed to cobble together some code along with a bit of borrowing off of other folks from the web. So far I've managed to get all the lamps tested so that they all switch on and off one at a time so that takes care of the outputs. Next step is to try and get the switch sensing to bring up an associated lamp (LED) per switch so I can check all the inputs. Once that's completed I'm thinking at having a go at spinning the reels. I know a few folks have hit snags with this but just for the fun of it I'm going to give it a go. The good thing about this is it really makes you understand how it all works. I thought I understood it all before, but now I know I do. When I get a bit further I'll post a vid and the details so if anyone else wants to use it, or better improve on it, they can.
