  1. I always use groove joint pliers as I find them best for this type of thing.

  2. Just keep filling with 20p's till it toggles the sensor. Or do what fruit58 said above. No it doesn't count coins in the tube. Unlike a hopper based fruit machines, it knows how much it has in the hopper.

  7. Hi all, With the man cave looking like a realistic prospect in the next few months I set about looking for a 90’s barcrest machine for the corner. Managed to find Boulderdash, and after a bit of tlc it will be great! Will be asking for some help in the appropriate forum when I’m able, and I’m sure will also be looking for more machines (don’t tell the wife!) Thanks!

  13. Yes but now working boards are getting scarse (and boards like maygay M1 non working have gone from £15 to £100) why on earth would you NOT want to protect them as much as possible these days? look at things like the voyager space probe, it’s pc is still working today and look when that was designed and built using every single static precaution! Back then chips were more prone to latent static damage because of the technology back then, hands up how many are still using a pc designed in 1970’s ? i just cannot understand with working boards getting harder to find working why on earth would you not want to protect them? After all anti static bags are not £100 each for god sake! More like 20p! but each to there own, trouble is you will never know if you have zapped the board with latent static damage and If it fails early, you would just think it has gone wrong! Or blame the person that’s just repaired it! It really is not difficult to do, even non working boards I still put in antistatic bags to prevent any further damage from static from handeling.
