  1. I Saw this on Marketplace Facebook, luckily it was local to me and the guy wanted it gone asap, had owned it 10 years in a mancave, so nabbed it for the pricey sum of £25! (Found £5 in it too!) Fully working,no battery leaks.Nice little bargain. The only downside is the glass isn't brilliant but for that price a steal!

  3. been on it today.Fitted new locks, the new lamp mask fitted,i had to fix one at front as it had broken where screws fit,so i made 2 u shape brackets from alloy and glued them on,then drilled for screws.Reels fitted, coin mech cleaned and 5p 10p painted red.Payout mech cleaned and lubricated.New lamp starters and clean inside .Note the variator in its own box, superb mech with a diff gear, looks like it would drive a car.So now its a clean on the outside and ready to use

  13. Keep up the good work Bob. It's the same for all of us learning to fix boards. Lots of work...slow progress. I sometimes get on better if I leave it for a few days and think about it and come back to it. I had an impact cpu laughing at me earlier when I gave it it's first try
