Machine now fully working (thanks Wizard) Will get it cleaned up and pictures for emulation and do a video of it as well. I noticed from other pictures it should have a lighted marquee above pay tray but it must have got broken on this one as a piece of wood has been fitted in it's place! Still has the lamp mask behind it, looks to have been just a sign saying sunday sport

SUCCESS!!! Replaced IC3 with a pull from scrap board and bingo all is well. Cheers Wizard, saved the day yet again picture after work.

Despite the battery damage to the MPU, the RAM chip is happily holding it's data from one day to the next. The only unusual thing with that is that I snipped the battery off a few days ago... How long do RAM chips normally hold data with no power?!

Been talking to magik again done a few tests and added another link.Also q1 now back in.ben moore has sent me a vid and it seems i have 5 lamps not going out when they should.but its working with full display now so just this one small problem to sort.So many many thanks to magik who sorted this and made it work,Well i followed insruction but it would never work without his quick witted knowledge..This is what its about,someone with knowledge telling a novice what to do,and getting results.So thanks magik and all that have helped,you guys have saved another classic.

We did peak at 1000 in one week at one point...

Any board clean with undiluted ipa.Then dry it thoroughly.Any traces of rot will carry on like rust on a car.You can get ipa in spray bottle on ebay cheap.It kills the alkalie.
