Yeah thought it might do that... I can take a look at it for you. What i'll be doing is just basically just changing over 1 component and maybe looking at one circuit not chasing it around the board reworking the processor or anything like that. I've had a very similar fault... so I think I'm on to it. Just to be clear though i might just say it was unsuccessful and post it back to you... board should be in the same state. Obviously I'll do my best for you though buddy.😎1 point

Ok mate, Cool we've established it's defo that mpu... which is good in a way. The board looks hmmm reasonable. Never want to say great without looking really close! I've just got one more test to do if your Up for it- 😎 Once it goes through the alarm and starts flashing normally, If you open the top and cash doors and 're close them it does a powered reset can you confirm if you get the on off alarm at this point too. This is obviously different to power off reset and relying on the battery.1 point

Hello mate, yeah I was umming- and arring. I'd love to help you I think while you have value in the card it's difficult... even a light job can be very difficult as its really hard to pin point the fault potentially tidying up the processor pins also sometimes you might just start cleaning it and components just come off as the solder is distingraring... If it's a right off I can have ago but it would be just that... I can clean it up and test it mate potentially. Can you post me a close up of each of these areas.1 point

Which was all cash. On the subject of Roms, I'm gonna see what are in mine as 5p £4 is a bit poo, it has a stake/prize key in but one that's home made if that makes sense, looks like it's been paper clipped. Dunno I'll do another thread so I'm not hyjacking this one.1 point

That wiring is suspect,Those slides look like 50vac payslide solenoids with the red tag on them. if they are 50v and not 240v as they were on all BFs electro machine's operating spec when built, unless someone has converted it to 50v payouts then those coils will burn out very quickly. There should be a double Blue/brown wire which should be linked to one connector on both payslide coils The should be a single brown wire to the other side of the 10p coil. There should be a single Brown/Black wire to the other side of the token coil1 point

Ha I remember that trick, you had to get the monopoly man on the center reel first then off and on if it didn’t repeat, seen a crafty old git using his walking stick to turn it off at south mimms services, he wouldn’t do anything while I was in the arcade and of course I’m thinking you can’t get down to the plug in your state,so he gave me the runaround for a bit he’d half emptied it before I finally sussed his game.1 point
