  1. I think the manufacturing costs worked out at £2 each delivered, If I had bought a few thousand or so they was 15p each, as with everything the more you buy the less they cost! was lucky really they responded to my email and was happy to make them! so sometimes things can work out and not impossible to source

  6. I'm thinking it's probably a stepper with an opto, similar to a reel. The actual cards have 10 positions 1-9 and blank which it must index to on boot up. Once indexed it must always assume it has stopped on the correct number, until it indexes again. That might explain only having one input to the board. Having said that I haven't got a close pic of the interface board yet so can't identify the 3 chips on it. I've got some more pics to look through to confirm the wiring so that might make things a bit clearer. It would be nice to know what error 99 is though. I could be chasing a red herring here!Be good to get it all documented though.

  7. that's your problem battery is flat on the program card, in a arcade they are on 8 hours plus a day every day keeping the battery charged, a hour or so every few weeks ain't going to do it! turn it on leave it some hours to charge up, then use it frequently, batts take on average 16 hours to be fully charged and will usually be flat in 3 months or less when switched off

  8. This is why I don't bother posting, you NEED to discover what it is wrong FIRST as I said previously, no point buying random bits and hopeing, well unless you have managed to somehow mind red what is wrong! oh my car wont start I better just replace the engine!!

  10. Even if offered for free it could work out very expensive. New M1a/B Board - £120-£150 New power supply - £20-£40 Coin Mech/Update - £25 Delivery - £70-£80 unless it's a local who can pick up. Looks like a freebie all day long to me.
