Some seem to give lamp issues, for example jewel in the crown which is a later mpu4 presumably. Never had a problem with earlier ones like andy capp, road hog, viva las vegas 6 etc.

Mpu4 is as easy as mpu3 to crack. Its not the PAL that is hacked it's the part of the rom code that addresses it.(a bit like cracks you see on computer software that needs a dongle to run)

Had a quick look,the metal lamp masks are gold in colour and very good,the lamps are incorrect and should be pygmy type 15 watt.The ones in are tesco 25 watt and has melted plastic,i thought it had damaged artwork but seems the artwork is printed on clear glass then a peice of opal plastic sits behind.So i can replace this.Has the original round 3 pin mains socket.Coin tube is original so takes old 10p,ive already altered mech back to old 10p.Im fitting new locks and front door needs sanding slightly as its a bit tight.Pigmy lamps ordered,all lamps are standard bayonet
