  3. So,to start this i have my bingolette from 1957.I bought this in 1999 and loved these the moment i saw them.It had written on the back this is no good.Wires hanging out the motor, cobwebs inside, rusty springs etc.So i veneered the cabinet, had the motor rewound in long eaton.Polished up all the springs that guide the ball, renewed rubbers on pins. The metal work was two tone so i did the corners in brass finish and the rest in gold leaf, then laquered it.The black flick handle was done in black enamel. This was 20 years ago,its had a lot of use and i would never part with it.Every nut and bolt off this to make it perfect.I even had printed the lower symbols you see on the bingo grid.Still works and sounds great, the original locks i had put on new keys.I will be adding more of my past work as weeks go on.I think you will agree this is a lovely machine,oh yes i had a new stainless steel coin box made to match original

  9. Also if you are filling try not to use normal filler use a fibreglass filler like fibral you will find this better and harder Its not cheap but the right thing to use

  10. The holes will be from the fiberglass you will get that air pockets and resin which is the norm from sanding back the gel-coat right back the the fiber-glass

  13. I had the same issues with a sru button frame .looks heat related almost .in the end I took it to a car body repair shop and we match the colour up more or less exactly. The bloke sanded it all back primed and resprayed then lacquered it .looked absolutely mint after but cost me ยฃ100 which I think was reasonable but costly onthe scheme of things. The other issue is that the black colour isnt just plain black .it has a metallic finish if you look closely and we found a honda colour that matched up .its amazing how many black colour variants are out there !

  15. Yes Rich, that is the plan now, the back door is with the printers and they are going to try and print on vinyl a match. Nick is also going to take some pictures of his so the printers have as much as possible to work with
