The outlaw club I picked up the other day is 1996/ motherboard still mounted flat. It's one of the ones with glass issues. The lamp in the end of the outlaws ciggy I love it's so cool. Picked this up for free 5 miles from my house!2 points

Here's Bell Fruit's Rose & Crown, a nice simple lo-tec machine that was probably designed for bingo halls and arcades. This layout is a joint effort between myself, andy-1 and hitthesix. Keyboard shortcuts in the notes section of the emulator. Thanks to Wizard for the emulator The Rom & image provider. Please use MFME V19.6 or later to play Enjoy. Rose & Crown.zip1 point

I made them and they was then deemed too expensive by mecca members, sold about 4 in total and gave some away at the time, there was a lot of talk about 'what if the ram corrupts you cannot just remove the battery to clear it' so that put people off too but in reality if they did corrupt it was easy enough to plug in a different program card which would clear it!! so really was not a problem at all!!! I know 2 of them (one in mpu4 and one in M1a) fitted in 2012 used 8 hours a day every day in a arcade since then have never had a problem or corrupted and have worked flawlessly! But the damage was done and people were put off! original thread on them from 2012 is here if anyone is interested https://www.fruitemu.co.uk/ib/index.php?/topic/10406-maygay-m1a-and-barcrest-mpu4-battery-less-ram-is-here/1 point

since you ask, myself I use either these, Or if the circuit allows these in place of the ram The chips above are better as retain the data for around 100 years with no battery. left is for mpu4, pc92, scorp2, and others, right is for M1a/b, (electrocoin as well if i remember correctly) and others1 point

Never knew this Charlie, would be interested to see if it worked on the emulator. I suspect it was chipped out early doors but always nice to see.1 point

Will do mate. I can usually tidy them up but this isn't damage it's poor adhesion. I've got a massive list of bits to do so might be a few months. Here's the before. Damaged in the sheriffs badge. I'm hoping to get it all back in place1 point

Don't you just love sour grapes and jealousy... How childish and ridiculous that a grown man can get upset about not getting his hands on a fruit machine that was made avaliable to the whole of the Internet on various platforms Maybe a more enjoyable life to have would be not to expect everything of a certain tech or manufacturer should come to you and only you. As your somehow entitled to it? Over everyone else End of the day these are the facts. A machine was advertised. A machine was brought and now is in the hands of a mpu mecca member. I see nothing wrong with that story I am off for a walk now as I can't afford a car.......... Ha ha happy days... Life's too short1 point

Ok so here's the board tonight. I'm pretty sure I've got all the broken areas, I've also added more repair wires just to be 110% the tracks hold up from eyelet/track/eyelet. Hope it's enough... I really want this board to work!1 point

A bit of a learning curve, got my new chipboard for the sides and a new template router bit and tried a cut using the old side as a template, not very smooth or satisfactory result! But I was just using the router to chomp through the wood ! What I should have done was roughly cut round it with a jigsaw leaving a few mils for the router to trim. If it's dry tomorrow will have another go at it. Still not done the bezel yet but I have a brand new set of glasses for it! The old one's are ok but has a bit near the credit display that's coiming away!1 point

I see that this was available in 1p or 2p play. First penny play machine I've ever seen (of this type). I wonder if the ROMs are switchable?1 point
