  1. I have plenty of old boards that you could practice on @Ben Moore. Get this fucker sent back, it's a matter of principle. My first board i practised on was a broken MPU4. I can still remember all the blobs of solder i created. I made a right mess of it

  7. Yeeeeeaaaaaaahhhhh! I've got it running! Came back to the psu tonight, the power fault on the was a broken 5v volt fuse holder...the thread was knackered. Tested it and found it supplies 5v if it's pushed in haha! Pushed it and my board fired up. It's running now great but now its the waiting game to see if the board holds up 😎 20191022_214136.mp4 20191022_212312.mp4

  10. This can happen with MPU6 but sometimes you’ll get lucky when you change the battery and sometimes the game file will be lost. On MPU5 I think you need a engineer card I’ve never had any luck with them unless you have a machine that skips 12/2

  11. well some manufactures on other electronics hold the program rom in battery backed up ram!, so when the CR2032 battery fails the equipment is then useless!!! and guess what! they want you to send it back to them to be reloaded at a cost of £250, now that's far more sneaky!!
