I used paper wrapped around some old wardrobe rail. I didn't muck around though... properly attacked them and kept chucking handfuls of £1's until they fell unrestricted. You have to put a fair bit of effort in mate 😎

Keep sanding away, get all the way down the tube, marker pen where they get stuck and work those areas. Polish afterwards. Once it's wide enough all the way down you shouldn't be any jams

Got them from this lot good bargain and a £8 all cash card for Indy was a bonus

It's not to much of a job if the tubes need doing. JPM impact is a great tech, as said have a look at the cpu/processor card straight away, if there's the slightest leak or alkaline damage around the battery it needs to stopping. It's within 30mm of the processor so it needs cleaning.... lots of cards carry on being eaten after the battery has been removed. If it's attended it too it should be reliable. Voltage regulators are also slightly troublesome but it's easy to replace. To get into engineers mode open the back door and push the test button on the main board... you can go into lamp test, set your volume etc. You've also got a refil key, which is a switch barrel. They're the same on all fruit machines. Have a read about that too. It's a fantastic machine... enjoy 😎

JPM died in the mid to late 90s when the original owners sold up. im hoping frank bird comes back in the near future to give us the full insight(not only the glory days of the 80s but its demise during the late 90s when it was flogged off (to sega IIRC) and on his thoughts of why it all went tits up).
