10uF at 16v or better. Doubt it will make a difference. Does not need to be a tant, regular will do. BTW, I did replace the 3 big caps in the PSU on my Stop the Clock and it did not change anything. I measured the old ones and they were 100% perfect....good olde Philips caps.2 points

obviously obsolete! so looking at the specs and I found a PBSS8110T is available 100v 1A with VEBO 5v as the original had, so for me this would be a good modern replacement! obviously lots of others too if the characterstics are matched up, so mystry solved of the 2T transistor1 point

A lot of damage and missing parts on the mpu's, lots of acid damage and dust. The impact board is clean and looks fine, scorpion 4 pretty bad, but ill give it a try to restore it. The mpu 4 got a chance, few parts missing, a little acid damage. The scorpion 1 boards...... pff. From the 5 boards there are 2 with potential, 3 with a lot of damage and missing parts. Hope that I can save 4 out of 8 boards, I'll keep you updated. Greets Ramon Photos are from the scorpion. The rest will follow later1 point

its either a dry joint on that pin to the board that causes the problem, or the connector or pins get tarnished over the past 20 years causing the resistance to go up which then causes the connector to heat up and burn! when new those molex connectors were rated at 7 amps a pin, well good enough when everything was shiny and new! 20 years takes its toll!1 point

or solder a wire from the 12v on the underside of the board on that pin and join that to the 12v reel wire with a choc block1 point
-
move the wire to the other end pin on the connector as this also has 12v on, or put a extra wire in to join the 2 end pins together so less strain on just one pin1 point

The last few days I've had some intermittent problems with Reel number 1 then all 4 main reels (club machine). It's easy to doubt the main board, then think what else? I narrowed it down to a poor 12v contact in the loom connector, where it's been heated up and has crap on it. The loom connectors and crimps seem not to fair that well on m1's? Brown wire with black Pin1 on the left. (Notice the scorch mark.) I'm intending to replace the crimp with a fresh one. Cleaned it for now and it's up and running ok. ๐1 point

I HAVE found some pics of it back from September 2015 when I started it, 4 years ago!! lol so actually for 4 years the copper had not tarnished that much! This is the first pic I have of this board, I don't have one with all the original components on, just started picture taking from when I stripped it and started going over it with the fiber pencil! 2 pics of the topside after stripping also taken september 2015 and the backside of the board when I started after cleaning that was then! more was stripped from it (RS232 socket caps and connectors) as it didn't look that good around that area also when I picked it up this time round!1 point
