  1. Just a heads up folks.. Danno has made my dream come true and released a gem of a layout over at DADsFME - JPM's Poolplay. For those who know me well you'll know I've been banging on about thiis since I found emulation and now thanks to Danno's extremely hard work and wizards coding its now a reality. Grab it here: http://dadsfme.com/index.php?topic=1283.0

  4. Might help some people I don’t think they have been posted on here. May be Simlar for MPU4, as the fat motors are the same as far as I’m aware.

  5. Hi all Just recently started buying machines for home. Certainly re-living my youth but my kids are old enough to get in on it now too. Not overly mechanically minded but do enjoy understanding how things work. I’ll ask, you’ll answer & I’ll likely ask again until I fully get it 😁 Stu

  6. Yeah I agree with Warlord. Is it visible from the front? If not leave it. It's not worth the risk

  7. Be very careful with artwork, remember it was fresh and new when sealed with whatever, ive tried the triple stuff and everything inbetween and it all lifts and crazes the artwork.Buy a cheap old glass and experiment first,or you will knacker it

  8. Thanks for the shout mate. You've got another one coming your way soon. On a side note thanks to the Mecca members that have helped me out: Fruit58, Louiebee, Majik and a massive thanks to the legend Andrew96 for all the invaluable repair threads. 😎

  10. I’ve got a manual but will probably tell different information. If anyone has a barcrest in that cab on tokens they probably have the same routing plug bad news: manual only tells me the route for this exact machine, pinball nudger

  13. BZY88C4V7 they basically clamp the voltage across them to 4.7v and are connected across the outputs of the driver chip IC8 6821, this is to protect the chip to clamp any spikes to 4.7v so they don't find there way back to damaging the chip outputs.

  15. Hi all Im very sorry to have to announce that Bell Fruit games factory will be closing. The clear out starts in Jan. All of the shop floor are being made redundant. I’m not 100% about development but would assume it won’t be good for them either. It’s such a shame but the market has moved on so much. The video products are doing really well now making games easy to distribute. Online also takes a huge chunk of players. I have had some great years there and met some brilliant people. I wish them all good luck for the future :(. Cheers John

  16. Are they repairable, this isn’t the first this has happened to me, the coin mechs seem to be near impossible to dismantle, I was going to try transfer the pcb in it to another coin mech before but you just can’t do this. Destroyed the last one (about a year ago) but now I’ve another with a cracked rib on cable, is it for the bin or repairable. Has anyone ever repaired one?
