  1. Con artists need outing, we should protect one another on here - if we know someone is dodgy then people need to be warned. I think "odd hiccup" will already be qualifier for understatement of the year Del, and it's only the 21st Jan! The blokes a cunt, and nobody should ever buy anything from him, Ever.

  2. No, he's a fucking con artist. He's ripped off several members of this forum including me. I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him. Odd hiccup? Don't talk such shite!

  3. There's been a few, usually sellers who have no idea how to pack items properly so they don't get damaged in transit. As for con artists, I think I've only been stung by about three or four in the last fifteen years.

  13. I've carried on working on this board good old Tony King has kindly given to me. Right now I'm waiting for the 74htc32 logic gates to turn up. I don't know much about U/IC9 which I've some times heard referred to as a boot chip. Does anyone know anything about it? Does it have a program and how robust is it? (Thanks) Here's a few pics. I'll hopefully try it by the weekend

  16. Oh yes psu plug put on just one pin out will blow up the reel drive chips and do burn up tracks on the board around them too! It’s easy to put one pin out or on the wrong way round if your not paying attention

  21. Try something else in that socket other than machine in question and see if it still trips out. Kettle or toaster, something that will pull a few amps and is earthed to really test that circuit/spur/socket to eliminate it. Am I right in assuming it is the RCD tripping and not the MCB.
