Hi,I think I am the trusted seller you are asking about or my wifes ebay account.Its true I have put a few of these on but then I do have a few to sell. I have worked in the gaming industry for nearly 40 years and at the arcade I work in Middlesbrough we have disposed of lots of boards, power supplies and reels etc and for the simple reason they have been lying around for years. I have been testing the boards and then fitting a new battery, I would not intentionally put a faulty board on for sale and I would change it if I was contacred within a reasonable time and with that I would like to think I was a trusted seller,and if anybody had any questions I would give them an honest answer many thanks

Hi All I'm hoping for a bit of advice as to where to go with this problem. I have an Ace System one Club Supreme "borrowed" from a friend. It was working fine, then a few days ago it just stopped whilst in attract mode. The 5 LEDS on the PSU are lit, and just to be sure, i replaced the electrolytics on the PSU board as one of them was bulging slightly. When switched on, it appears to come out of reset. The relay "clicks" the the red LED on the board goes out after about 5 seconds as it should, but nothing else happens. The reels are "stiff" and the Leds on the backs of them are lit, but they do not initialise and no other lights illuminate on the machine at all. Whether it is relevant or not, the "full stop" on one of 7 seg's flashes 3 times about 10 seconds after switching on (flashes twice immediately, then again after a couple of seconds) I have reseated the connectors and the roms and of course checked the 7 fuses! I also removed the lighting fuse in case the flo tube was interfering - i had that happen once on a JPM. Does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem could be? I don't have a 'scope, so i'm limited to a multimeter. Thank you for any advice.

I've never won either but being a pensioner is the next best thing. All I've got to do now is see if I can crack this before the grim reaper calls. Thanks for all your input so far and everyone else too.

The little board I am designing, well I CAN now see why this is needed! A mps2 has a couple of extra signals on the reel connector which the mps1 does not have, and in fact one of the 2 pins is grounded! So that would mean put a mps2 board on the mps1 test rig and damage would most certainly be done to the board!!!! (With reels connected these extra signals are not connected anywhere and are left blank) So the little board not only disconnects it from being shorted, but also has a visual display of the 2 extra lines the mps2 board has!!! I presume for monitoring when on the test bed! So this board is ONLY needed for use with the MPS1 test bed!! I somehow don’t think there will be a great need for this little board unless you have the proper test set!! So once I have completed the design I will look to get get a handful made (3 most likely, one for midibob and 2 for me) unless anyone else has a test bed and needs one !!
