  1. Well the bad board I repaired and was working on 27 December has now been running non stop since then and is still running now! Using of course the test software and my mk1 program card board!! So I am now quite convinced the board is now a good runner and will stay working!!!

  6. possibly, I found the earlier version I made very useful hence the adaptation for this new version, for me it is easier than using a program card and changing the plug for a right angled one. I thought the logo fitted well when i did it on the earlier board lol it is in the copper layer too! it was to see if it worked, it is on the back of the pcb too

  7. Trying some impact in blue now that have some SMD components designed in to make them cheaper, I think making them blue solder mask really makes them stand out!

  8. While the place that makes PCB's has a good offer on small boards I have decided to re-design the small rom card I did back in 2015 so it has handy visual indication of the reset line status, and watchdog control with visual indication on it, its going to be in black solder mask this time! this should help when it comes to faultfinding as visual indicators are always good! Its now in pcb production!

  13. Yes as other board works. The switch is perm made. Go to switch test and you will see. Copy this video. The lose lamp shows the refill switch. I bet it's lit all the time. If so unplug the switches at the MPU and if still lit then 100% MPU fault. jackpot switch test.mp4

  15. lol ! lock it away somewhere ! just one more thing to do to it and that's to replace the pin with a new one on the reel motors connector to stop any burn ups in the future! this has been the worst for corrosion damage on the pcb tracks I have done! with all the new parts too it has not been a cheap board to bring back to life, and as for time such a lot has gone into this, now if only I could get it down to 1 or 2 days and charge £100 plus for repair I would do them full time lol!
