  1. And when a board does run correctly just the reset status is lit when the board comes out of reset and runs code!

  2. yup sure, the program card has no rom fitted so the board cannot read rom code and run! so its stuck in reset with the watchdog kicking in! the 'reset' led (on the left) shows what the reset line is doing, lit the board is trying to run code but as the watchdog kicks in the led goes out! this continuously repeats! as you can see the little time the led is lit means it is very difficult to probe the board to see what is not working, this is where the switch and the right led comes into play! the right led is just a easy visual indicator of when the switch is turned on so lights whenever the switch is on!, this is the watchdog control disable switch!, you can see when I switch it on and the right led is lit to tell me its on, a few seconds later the reset led is lit which shows the board is now out of reset and running despite no rom! this enables me to probe around to find out why a board won't run code, obviously with a non working board a rom would be fitted, but the purpose of this video is to show the new board I have had made does what I designed it to! when a m1 board is fully working the reset line will be lit all the time! does exactly what I hoped it would!

  3. Looks like the transfer motor off a 70s Rock-ola Juke box rich, it operates the arm that lifts the record out of the magazine and places it onto the turntable.

  4. It’s built!! Testing tonight! Resistors for the led’s still to be chosen and fitted as ideally want the leds similar in brightness! But not blinding!! They just need to be a visual indication of what’s going on!
