I am still waiting on one smd resistor! but I was eager to make sure the design works as there has been a lot of 'tinkering' with the tracks on this design, so I dropped in one that will do the job for now so I could try it! always a heart stopping moment when something new is tried for the first time! The reason I was asking about the rom size fr the program side was the later cpu cards have links on them for the usual 1k roms and the 4k ones! if the 4k was something they planned but never used and they stuck with the 1k roms, then I can see no reason to leave the links for 4k roms on the cards I make and can remove them!1 point

Cheers!!! I forgot about the separate sound card !! That’s not something I am working on, just the cpu card! So my bad didn’t think about the sound roms!! You are entirely right!!! i see the roms for the cpu card can be configured for 4mb but have only seen 1 mb ones myself cheers for all the info!!!1 point
