  1. BFM/Whitbread - Olympic Gold Tech: Scorpion 2 Here's a Olympic themed machine from 1996, it plays a good game but the cashpot takes a long time to fill up. Unfortunately it's another mute layout due to missing sound roms. Keyboard shortcuts in the notes part of the emulator. Thanks to Wizard for the emulator The rom and image provider. Please use MFME V19.8 or later to play. Enjoy & stay safe. Olympic Gold.zip

  3. The battery on that board has spewed it's guts... If your machine is not booting, the tracks WILL be damaged or shorted. . The via/through holes will more than likely be damaged. The area under the dip switches will more than likely be damaged... Have you looked at the back of the board? Is there darkening or black areas under where the battery sits on the opposite side of the board? Something has rotted, hence machine does not work. If the search function works on the Mecca, there are numerous Epoch repair threads. No one's board looks that bad in their first few posts, few are heard from again when they find out a working board for their machine could cost up to £80+ as they realise they can't repair their own. Components are available from such places as RS/Farnell. A replacement battery alone will not make the board spring to life. Just my input on Epoch repair..... Again.

  10. As above.... If you do not have any electronics knowledge, then no. Better to find a working replacement.

  11. Hi there With this increased time at home, I've started looking through my old slave drives and came across a load of old ROMS and some old versions of MFME. I have not played any of these for between 10-15years (I think the last version of MFME I had was V3). PLaying these took me back to the days of hanging out at the arcade (and losing a hell of a lot of money) and remembered this was a much easier way of playing. Anyway, wanted to join to see if there were new ROMS that had been developed since the last time - I always remember playing a video style game which I thought was Monte Carlo or Bust but involved a Taxi and when you got the feature, 2 were lit in red as super versions, however back then, it hadn't been able to be emulated. Wondered if that had been done now? Thanks Steve

  12. Where have you been so much has developed since 2016 we had v5 which had now progressed to mfme v19. Soon to be v20? so firstly you’ll need mfme v5.1 available on this site somewhere? as the newer mfme won’t play the old dat.files and this will convert To fml.files All your older layouts can then be converted then you’ll need mfme v19 which will auto update to v19.8 this can be found by joining up @desertislandfruits this emulator will only run on window 10 though from then once you’re all set up you’ll be like a kid in a sweet shop wherw you’ll be able to play all your games in higher quality and much much more including Monte Carlo mpu4 video goodluck and have fun

Thanks for the flyer uploader Shortcuts are- Start = Spacebar Take Feature = F Take Cash = C Feature Exchange = E Holds = 1,2,3 Hi = 2, Lo = 3 Cancel = ` Take Bonus = B Take Cashpot = P Shoot Egg bonus = S Supertrail = T £'s in = 0 The latest Mfme emulator (6.1) can be found via the website listed on the notes section of the layout! 15. Here's a oldie for ya probably one of the oldest club machines i've created so far. An old lo to mid tech clubber with a pull handle!! A basic clubber with only four features and a gamble of which i've managed to gamble to £50 so far! Thanks goto- Ady for the flyer he gave me, No1 stoney for the linkage for the roms for me to try, A Big thankyou to Hitthesix for getting the roms running correctly etc. To Phil Doncaster's youtube video of this machine, which i watched a million times for reel orders, text identifying etc. Now to the layout itself as you can see it has a pull handle, i tried to emulate the handle going down when pulled but it "Flickered" during attract mode so scrapped that plan but you can still press the handle and it works, The cashpot reserve seven segs At the moment they don't work whether its a rom issue or just me remains to be seen, if anyone can get em to work then please post the results via this topic or pm me. Afaik the notes on the cashpot are in order. The cashpot symbol on the reels isn,t original, it's one i made up and it looks a near match to the original same goes for the single n double bars, again if the original images comes up i'll amend this layout. Plays in Mfme 2.0-3.2 best! the other version plays in mfme6.1 only!!! Shortcuts are- Start (green button) = spacebar, Pull Handle (start) = P, Holds = 1,2,3,4 Gamble/Stop = S Collect = C Cancel = ` £££'s in = 0 Enjoy and Happy Gaming!!!! 16. Next up is another remake from me the third time i've actually done this machine lol. But this ones slightly different it's the Alternative design where the Yes/No repeat's on the side and it has the usual barcrest buttons only one start button as opposed to two on the other version also the sevensegs are in two's, apart from that its basically the same inside. Now to the layout design, i give a BIG thankyou to Jonno/Launton whom once again come up with top notch photo's which i used throughout this layout. I decided to not manually light the layout the usual way via photoshop but instead overlay the lit photo's on top of the unlit ones 95% of the on/off lamps are actual real images, the only "jumping" of the overlaying of the images is the right side of the CashCounter logo. Shortcuts are Start = spacebar Gamble = G Cancel = ` Holds = 1,2,3 Collect = C Save Winnings = S Replay Winnings = R Tokens in = 9 ££££'s = 0 This plays in Mfme 2.0~ 3.2 Enjoy and Happy Gaming!!! 17. here we have an updated wdx of Barcrests Double Up in a cabinet. this is one of the first machines i played in a grotty arcade where i live aged 13. the original was done by pook to which i thank for the reel and lamp positions i used some bits from Nudge Quest like the reel symbols (Of which i had to redo certain symbols with different numbers/bonus etc),and £2 notes and the super2 note in the cash ladder so thanks to bugs for that layout, also a big thankyou to Tommy C Again who taught me how to mask lamps and how to apply them to a layout also thankyou to the playtesters of version1,2,3,4 etc of this layout. i know its not pixel perfect but the flyer wasn,t that good i had to de-bulb all the lamps before relighting. shortcuts are- Start= spacebar, holds= 1,2,3 collect=C, Gamble= G cancel= ` , tokens in= 9, and ££££'s= 0. hope you all enjoy it and happy gaming Barcrests Double Up 1024Wdx.zip
