  1. Bally is a American company, but they built machines in Dublin and Belgium aswell. If the machine has any electronics in it then likely to be a rebuild by Summit.

  2. Bought a one armed bandit last week for just 250 euro. Does anyone know what the brand is? Way back, mid 80s, I thought some one told me it was a Belgium made machine. Like to replace the bottom window and looking for a manual. Please help me out.

  3. The Frame is now semi finished I have temporary fitted the modules to make sure it all fits ... looks good so far The space in the top is where the mini reel set is going to be fitted I still have a couple of bits of wood to fit to the base at the back to support the PSU and the speaker My Plan is to put a hinged door on the back ... i will wire everything to screw terminal strips on the inside of the back door this way i can chang/replacee looms or swap i/o easily without having to de-solder the looms from the modules ... next stage is fit the final bits of wood and give it a coat of paint ... but i need to paint it outside and its pissing down so maybe a couple of days till the next update untill then ... all the best ... 5. So, I found a company on line called e-service which were selling scorpion 4 boards without any delay, also with 3 months warranty, so ordered 1 yesterday morning for £60 delivered. Arrived this afternoon, board came sealed in plastic and looked brand new. fitted it and it works perfectly. So a big shout for them at e-service, great price, super quick delivery. Perfect.👍😀👌 Also a big thanks to everyone here for their inputs and knowledge.

  17. Here's two of my latest boards I've repaired while off work furloughed. Both were not to bad battery damage really. One had burned out track under the meter driver which I've not seen before... back to life now though. The green dots are all new ICs Still working on the dreaded nemesis board. 😎

  23. don't forget the mainboard has tracks corroded in the digital sound side, I would sort that out first before condemning the program card which doesn't have damage!! It is like saying.. my car wont start and someone then saying replace the engine first.......... you know what I mean...

  24. Hi all Im very sorry to have to announce that Bell Fruit games factory will be closing. The clear out starts in Jan. All of the shop floor are being made redundant. I’m not 100% about development but would assume it won’t be good for them either. It’s such a shame but the market has moved on so much. The video products are doing really well now making games easy to distribute. Online also takes a huge chunk of players. I have had some great years there and met some brilliant people. I wish them all good luck for the future :(. Cheers John
