  2. @Andrew96_ your other post was quite the read! And one of the repairs threads on the really bad M1b was just amazing how much sumtuff came off and on before you finally got there with it - very impressive! Are the Gal’s on M1a/b recreateable then?? - Does anyone have the code?? Assuming the chips are still available to buy???

  3. I disagree, having decent equipment like soldering / desoldering irons make the possibility of overheating the joints and pulling tracks off much much lower!! It’s not about how often you use them! it is not until you use the good ones you realise how much better they are!

  5. Thanks Andrew, yes that's a good reason for not having payslides! As Dicky has included reels the whole rig is starting to feel like a complete machine to me.

  6. The Bucks Bunny I had years ago was manufactured by Games Media, not Bellfruit ,running on Sc4 although I believe it is available on Eclipse, Sc5 and possibly Epoch. Dire machine, I gave it away.

  8. Before you set fire to it either Take hi Res images and keep the roms for dumping or give it to someone on here that will emulate this forever please don’t smash it up before you take images or give it away as it’s a rare one that we’ve not heard or seen before

  9. It needs to be lamps for the triac loads on the test rig, the software energises the triacs far longer than running software, so either the triac coils would get very hot quite quickly or the fuse in the psu would blow! far more punishment than in realplay

  11. I have used the inline version of this on several machines. I'm not sure if it improved anything but it certainly did no harm.
