  1. Just a quick update on the MPU4 plug extractor tool ... i have completed the draft for the Ebay page ... but i have already seen some improvements on the original design so im currently printing the V2 units .. i want to make sure i have the tools 100% and ready so i can dispatch quickly .... I will start a separate thread in this section with info on the tool and the pull tabs as i don't want any questions or info to get lost among the test rig posts all the best Dicky

  3. Greetings fellow programs, So it finally happened tinkering can no longer solve my issues....not with out some quality help. So in my search for assistance I found this site and the treasure trove of information. Just none of it I could see related to my machines. Well lets talk more about them I have three. Hoping for a fourth and fifth soon...then maybe a sixth seventh eigt.....okay I think we all know where this is going. I have a red gaming Sub Zero and Top Giza and a recently acquired JPM Ca$h Vegas strip. The Sub zero I have had for 10 years and it is absolutely one of mine and the kids favorites, (yes I eventually let them play with their "money boxes" I find it one of the most fun and its definitely more fun! Many features and movement, lots nicely themed and genuinely funny with some great Brrr sounds. I have a Top Giza which sadly doesn't seem to of worn as well as the Sub Zero despite as I am sure most of you know being very familiar and I had it about the same amount of time, It was doing great and then whilst trying to take a couple of the buttons off to clean them which the collars are stuck solid, so any advice on those babies gratefully appreciated or I'm gonna end up breaking i something with an adjustable spanner I know it....probably the spanner, these things are tough. It has a few bulbs missing and as recently as taking the pictures attached (enjoy) the Alpha appears to of stopped working πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ ....and last but not least the newest one that worked for....oh a week and then when I tried to switch it on nothing..... The JPM Ca$h Vegas Strip Occasionally suddenly it gives an alarm or error code 44 00 but it hasn't moved but not sure where % key is but again thats its main problem but it was fun to play, I think! So yes that me I have always loved these machines I have only ever been amused by them but never known really how to care for them and know they mean something to me and are showing signs of age I need to do something, before the lights go out As I was saying I have always loved the amusement of these machines. various locations near me use dot have them un abundence as well as may favorite MAME and other Arcade title machines (but that is for another forum lol) I used to play many 5p entry games Andy Capp and Monopoly being my favorites, to be honest most game character board features where fun. and I can honestly say I never played for the money. Well it was nice to get a few Β£5 jackpots and play and play and keep playing. My Mad was always very lucky many a time we had Sunday dinner and a round or two of drinks with the tokens he would win in the local on holiday, much to the annoyance of other locals who had been feeding the machine for hours....although maybe that was his plan, he taught me the double nudge and hold button bits and pressing cancel to sloooooow things down. But most of all I was taught that all this means the machine eventually wants its money back so you put in then you get out.......might have a few more machines if I hadn't but that advice in all my extra curricular activities πŸ˜‰ So Howdy and Hello there to all. Sorry almost forgot the names Tim.

  7. The cracking noise is ok, if you break it at the end of the day buttons are cheap and easy to replace

  8. Hello and welcome mate, Very good introduction. Good comment to read, the sub zero I really don’t like myself lol The buttons not coming out can be a nightmare but not Experienced it on the β€˜New’ Genesis cabs, Pliers might help? Top Giza saved my mates one recently, sent him a program card the PIC chip when wrong on his (James Hardy on YouTube) The Vegas is interesting not played one but do like these Pulsar cabs

  10. What a good idea. It's one thing to be able to design the stuff with the 3D software but also to think up the pattern in the first place. Unfortunately I'm no good at either.
