BFM - Cash Blitz Tech: SYS85 A great game from Bell Fruit, from way back in 1987, brought back to life. This machine although only a £2 jackpot plays a great game and really shows why the 'A' in AWP originally meant Amusement. Keyboard shortcuts in the notes part of the emulator. Thanks to Wizard for the emulator Player for the roms The image provider. Please use MFME V19.8 or later to play Enjoy & stay safe Cash Blitz.zip Cash Blitz £4.zip1 point

Dicky, that would explain why your work looks so well engineered. I'm a dustman which is my mine looks like rubbish! Not really.1 point

Yes i cheated ... i let Barcrest punchdown all my lamps I wanted a punchdown tool for the wires on the MPU plugs .. but the cost from RS was over £300 ... you can forget that ... I could have 3D printed something along the line of the BT ones but from experience they dont last very long and i would have expected them to break easily .. And for that reason i would not think it would be a good idea until i can 3D print in Metal So I ended up using a shitty old stumpy screwdriver ... grinding the end thinner and then cutting two slots with a hacksaw ... and it works a treat for the MPU plugs You could make something similar to fit into the lamp plugs you have Hope this helps Dicky1 point

Hi Dicky, Would it be possible to make a plastic tool for inserting wire into the back of IDC lampholders and spade terminals as in the photo below? I've been looking at punchdown tools on eBay and so far I haven't spotted any that looked right for the job. How did you wire up the lampholders on your test rig? Was it with a proper tool or a small flat screwdriver (something I've tried before and it's messy and potentially dangerous if you slip and stab your hand with it....) Thanks in advance. Dave EDIT: I've just seen how you wired up the lamps on your rig. That's cheating! I can't get away with that because I'm using new parts!1 point

Thanks to everyone involved for this layout. An excellent machine. I remember playing a couple of these at the time, one in our local put although they were the £4 token versions. On this machine to get the jackpot tune you either have to collect a £2 win or obtain a £2 win on an auto collect feature such as 'Choose a Win' as the £2 repeat feature does not play the jackpot tune. Seems to play a good game, had a few £2 repeats which on a couple of occasions repeated 4 or 5 times, the skill shot seems very generous although I'm sure it occasionally bounces. I was surprized though when I had 8 nudges and the 'Double Nudges' light was lit but only offered me a £1 win using 8 nudges. Then filled the nudge pot again. I assumed that I would have had 16 nudges or is 8 the maximum regardless. Gambling a £2 win can be pretty nasty, three loses and you end up with 20p, I'm sure I didn't gamble the £2 win on the real machine very often! A great fun machyine, thanks once again.1 point

Not sure what SRU game these are from, gives 5 credits for 10p, pays out 2 coins for 2 the same (4p?) but hits gample ladder for 3 of a kind I think. think it has a ramdom shufffe feture and nudges. Sorry it's a bit vague - It was a rom cart I was lent to help fix SRU. I've wired in an extra start button to the back of the cab so I can play credits for test so don't realy pay much attention to the reels, The cab only got 1 tube so was converted to all cash at some point.. presume on the 2p conversions the token tube became the 2p tube. Here is my first 2708 rip... seems to run OK when burned back to fresh chips... SRU_2p_Shuffle.zip1 point
