  3. That Krone termination tool that Del mentioned is no good for terminations on fruit machines, it's for telecom cables - you'll fuck the terminations up if you use one. Nice idea by Dicky, but there must be a proper tool available for this - we just need to find out who makes it. The search continues.

  7. Ut4 is a update on ut2, ut2 was for 2.2w lamps and ut4 was for the more normal 1.1w lamps

  10. Thank you and to @vectra666for the £4jp layout. I've had one jackpot so far, put in around £30. This rom seems very generous on getting you into the features and had a few £2 wins off choose a win feature. Another great game, thanks.

  13. Back to the test rig ... I have to today has been quite surprising and opened my eyes a little, i was on the understanding that the program card settings and type of card were important ( apart from the T cards which use different Roms and Pinouts .. I thought i would make a test Eprom using the UT2.P1 file .... the program size is 8k so i put it on a 2764 eprom ... picked another empty Program card off the shelf popped in the eprom and put it in the MPU4 on test and it worked first time ... again no settings or links to change also i left the charactiser in and took it out and it does not make any difference ... so it seems that it is very forgiving on rom size and Program card ... i would like to try on a 271001 eprom and see how it runs on a T card ... will have to wait for the Eprom eraser to arrive before i can do that one thing the test program did show was that i have 2 faulty input switches that are on all the time ... you can feel the difference when you switch them ... but then they were bulk 39p ea switches well here it is in all its glory And before anyone spots it ... yes i have a lamp blown on the reel lamp module all the best ... 18. Thanks for the updated 19.8 version. Looking forward to trying out the £2.40 cash version, never played one of thise for real. Arcades and pubs in and around London never seemed to have these all cash alternatives. Was it sea side arcades that generally had these all cash machines in them?

  20. Hi guys Missed everyone whilst the forum was down ... good to see all up and running again .. well done to those involved with getting it all back I have finished the first Production Unit of the Push Button Tool Kit and i'm really pleased with the results, its very strong, versatile and precision made tool kit, It is a one off and takes around 28 hours to make, so unfortunately as i mentioned before the price reflects this but for those that want a specialised bit of kit .. this is for you It will retail for £32.99 including UK postage and Packing and i will add an Ebay Link Later when i have more units produced ... Also have now finished the MPU4 Pull Tabs Set that fixes to Test Rigs or individual machines and will update everyone soon all the best Dicky
