  10. If it wasn’t for the conversions we would have never had the quality of games we have today. Imagine all those dull games like Autoroute etc only being available

  13. Thanks for knocking out these old classic BFMs, not sure if I've played this specific one but will enjoying having a go at it later. Are any of the £3 games available from this era? Two I remember playing but cannot remember the names, one had a £1.50 big money style repeat feature with lines of 50ps on the top glass left hand side. The other was a little different, the top glass had three pots, 10p, 20p token and nudge pots. When you entered the feature you got the chance to select one and then could select to change it but risk the chance that you could lose. It also had another feature, on reel 1 and 2 there wwas a symbol which when in a combination in view, would pay an amount which was displayed on a 7 seg display on the lower glass left hand side which on every spin would show a random amount betwen 20p and £3. Thanks once again to all involved.

  17. The proverbial light bulb came on today. The board that had the failure of the lamps 60-6F I couldn't understand why I wasn't getting any outputs from the PIO chip IC38 (8255). What I should have done from the start was to check the resistance to ground from each output pin. All were at logic zero on the probe and the scope showed no activity. Of course it became obvious with the meter as all outputs were short to ground! This proved to be the ULN2823 darlington arrays which had both blown. This is a nuisance as they are fairly difficult to obtain bar silly money so I'm on the hunt for some at a reasonable price.

  18. Just a quick update .... from the nightmare world of 3D printing all had been running fine until i decided to upgrade the printer with a new print bed This seemed the best way to go ... so fitted this on Sunday and disaster ... i could not get nothing to stick to the bed ... all the prints kept failing after looking into the problem ... it became apparent that these type of print beds need totaly different settings than stock print beds and also need different running temperatures this meant all my Gcode files that i had generated for the Dickywink products need regenerating to suit this printbed so i spent the last few days tweeking and now i am back up and running ... so fingers crossed the toolkits will be back in production soon Being back at work has unfortunately also given me less time as well but we will get there Dicky
