Hi and welcome to the 50th edition from the vecs vaults in the form of Starprize by Bfm. this plays a very good game with plenty going on and familiar catch phrases and sounds from iconic T.V quiz shows. I had the photo,s from the mecca for some time so decided to make them into a dx now the thanks, thanks to bellfruit for bringing us this fruity in the first place next to John Disco for uploading the photo,s to here back in 2010 and to Captain Haddock for his original classic layout from which I gained the lamping postions etc, I,ve redone the base reels by nicking the star and feature bit from the images unfortunately the alpha doesn,t fit correctly due to size but doesn,t affect gameplay Also thankyou to Temple of Treasure for editing the base buttons for me cheers all. This plays in both Mfme 9.4 &10.1 but plays in 9.4 better sound and speed wise. SHORTCUTS ARE- START =S , EXCHANGE = E, COLLECT = C, HOLDS = 1,2,3 HI = 2 LO = 3, STOP = S , CANCEL = ` , BELL = B , FEATURES = F, CASHPOT = T, NUDGES = N , GOLDEN SHOTS = G , WHEEL OF FORTUNE FEATURE = W and finally ££££,s in = 0 ENJOY AND HAPPY GAMING!!!!!!! 4. Hey all Thought it was about time I said hello and shared a build I have put together recently for my dads upcoming birthday. As you can imagine this took a lot of planning and preparation. I drew the cabinet from scratch in Tinkercad and it took upwards of around 110 hours to print.

  14. EWS Red, certainly mu favorite machine from the SRU era, especially the unchipped ones that could hold five times after a jackpot, yes I did see one pay out £14 on a jackpot followed by holds so this must have held 6 times after jackpot, sadly it was not me playing it at the time.

  15. You certainly captured a good run on this machine. What is the highest crazy streak you have obtained from your machine? On the daily stat in some of the arcades, I used to see as high as over £16 on some occasions. Has yours ever gone that crazy?

  16. A great machine, lots going on, loads of features. I think skill stop feature did go faster but I think was pure skill where as chipped versions could miss even if you hit the full line. I would like to see you play this and transfer a jackpot to that extra interest thing, I did it once and it played really weird after. I cuntinued playig the credits and at one point got the 2£2 repeat feature but it did not give me the repeat chance, I carried on and when it hap played out all the credits from the extra interest thing it gave me the repeat chance. When I collected it payed tokens although I had not won another jackpot, it must have added the wins and payed tokens as they amounted to over £2, I was very suprized. Generally I ignored that function, as I believe most people did. I see this video is just under 2 years old, have you still got this machine?

  19. Thanks Fruitsnappa, saw that one on eBay but a bit risky being untested. Yes CanonMan, I’m going down the route of getting this one repaired, as like you say, there isn't a lot on them to go wrong 👍

  20. Hey Bob Thanks for the message, I've been busy looking at this all day AND just found the issue!!! The ruddy cherry switch at the front of the machine is open! On all my other machines with a front cherry switch on work as normal the switch open and closed, but on this one....nope! Closed the cherry swicth and hey presto it worked. This is THE most temperamental machine in my collection by a mile. 3 working mps boards, 3 working psu's, 3 working power cables from the mps board to the psu's. Swapped for another power lead and psu and it worked (after messing around with the coin mec as that also stopped it from booting). All of those working boards and psu's back in the other machines (which boot up and are fine) but when connected to Bank Raid...nope. SO another psu thats borrowed from Nick is whats working it. Very very very odd! Great machine, but man alive what a headache Thanks again for the suggestions!!! And to all who mesaaged ill pop a video up

  22. Well, I have been involved one way or another with fruit machines for quite a few years now. I started off buying from suppliers, then from freeads, ebay- and since I discovered the mpu mecca, I have now owned, or repaired, a vast variety of gaming machines. I was never able to keep all of them, but through curiosity, or chance, or deliberation I have suceeded in owning every tech platform out there, all save for system1 which has never appealed to me anyway. Dont ask me why, it just doesnt. I seem to have a flare for troubleshooting and to begin with my soldering was far from great, I still dont always rate it, but I have had my efforts rewarded with dead machines springing to life for me after laying forgotten in sheds or garages foreever more. My Number1 is an example of this, and DADsFME has articles on a few of my other sucessful projects. And to think! all this started from one of the weirdest obsessions, and ambitions you could ever think of... THE DESIRE TO BUILD A FRUIT MACHINE, A ONE OFF, MY OWN DESIGN, FROM SCRATCH, and see it out there in an arcade or whatever. Now dont ask me why I have this really silly life goal. I just do. Its become an obsession these days, I sometimes drive my wife up the wall with boxes of bits here, reels there etc and I know Im a pain. Im always downloading service manuals, schematics etc and putting them aside in my projects folder. I never really thought tho that I would get this project done, for one thing, no one would give a prototype the time of day would they? Well thats what I thought, but now I am sitting here with the knowlage that I have as much spares and refrence availible to me that I will need, and that I have access to machines, and this project , as crazy as it is, may well become a reality. Not only that, but as you can get single chip computers these days for relatively cheap cost, and that they are surprisingly easy to use, I KNOW it will become a reality! its gonna take time. But now, its gonna get started. And as you all have done so much for me, I am going to do this for you. This will be an open to public project. If I write code, itll be open source. IF I program chips, youll get a copy of the HEX. If I draw up schematics you will get a copy. I am not doing this to make money, I am doing this because I want to, and I want to take as many people as I possibly can along the way. You will either be proven in your suspicions that I am crazy, or you will enjoy reading about an interesting, diffrent project, or both. One things for sure, you wont be bored. introducing, coming soon, MAGIKS EPS - Eighties Play and Sound!
