  3. boards seem to be stored over the years with no respect to them, they get bashed, scraped and in some cases people like to move components too and fro until there leads break and the component falls off! chips blown through being put in the wrong way round and pins bent when trying to put in sockets because they don't look properly! then there is ic sockets which suffer and get bent pin holders! all in addition to component failure through age!! it is a wonder boards ever work again!

  6. Lovely machine. I have 2 ACE machines here Pound Stretcher and Poundaround These machines utilise system 1 tech and can be very temperamental at best. I do like them though. Good luck on getting this beauty running.

  8. Great machine! Completely changed the UK market overnight. Gone were the cartoons and in came coins and money etc. Sounds like you have a mint machine there if it's never been on site! Wouldn't be hard to get running again. Unfortunately, these typically don't fetch a lot of money. IMHO Gold Fever was way more refined. Cash Attack was again better, but most didn't like the gamble feature. Cash Point was the dogs Bo**ocks though!

  12. Sorry late reply it was in Leicester and it was around 1980-82 I think everywhere had machine in laws were totally different then even the barbers shop had a bell fruit fore aft in there 😊
