  1. Right guys one more day gone by working on this. Update changed board for one i tried before unplugged all sensors and changed the dip settings .. BINGO 50P PAY OUT And you don't have to have, £4 in the bank before it pays out, it pays out anything over 50p So £1.20 ,pays out as two ×50p 2×10p So I thought its a got to be a board fault!(even tho i tried this board before and it showed the same fault) So i thought right put the old board back in with all tube sensors unplugged and changed the dip setting BINGO! works!!! So its got to be the tubes sensors or the dip setting which was stopping this paying out 50p. Wow guys got there in the end all the input from you and things to try ive not come across nothing like this before. But as we all know without the help from guys on this site with information and input which keeps this site what it is. As you will see £30 as been donated to the site just for your input and help. Cheers guys

  2. Yes it will prefer to pay out 10p, that's the way arcades ran back then. Our goal was to sell as many 10p coins as possible, hated changing them back to notes. These early MPU4 games just read the tube level and that was it, later on they started to count the coins after dropping below the level....well that was the plan. However, Ready Steady Go was terrible for always running out of 50p coins because it didn't count properly. I tried moving the sensors up to the top of the tube and it made no difference.

  3. I think you're right with that. If it thinks the 50p tube is empty then it pays in 10p coins instead. Pop the correct working sensor on the 50p tube and the fault should disappear.

  4. Could be a dip switch setting Or maybe as 50ps are low it pays 10s as a preference I don't know. I am just chucking ideas out Your making progress its awesome Stay safe

  5. your missing the point .. ebay will not tell you what they have or havent done , just because the seller is now no longer registered means nothing . and you will deffo not here from a ebay chat rep, who have no powers to ban and execute such a action on a buyer or sellers account again .... if ebay had banned or removed the seller ...all of his/her accounts associated would be removed too however someone has just mentioned that the person is still using one of there other accounts .. therefore the seller isnt and hasnt been banned from ebay

  15. All i see is they have taken action which means brushed your issue under the carpet At no point has ebay told you they have closed any account??? Your seeing things that aren't there I reiterate... If ebay had closed the account and the user had multiple accounts... All would be closed The end

  16. You lot know perfectly well what you are doing, my motto is if someone can't be up front and lay everything on the line initially then they are a cunt. Fuck em!!!

  17. eBay don't need to tell you, all you have to do is look up the seller and see if it says 'Not a registered user' next to the name. I would have a look at all the names he's used myself, but I can't be arsed. Good riddance to the fucker.

  18. Yes you have a short to ground on the tube sensor, pin 2 of the switch inputs on both connectors is...50p tube sensor on the orange connector and autonudge on the black connector. Looking at the schematic you will see the switch inputs are 8x4 group and the DIL switches are 8x2 group. 8 data read lines and 6 enables. I think the DIL switches are read less frequently than the other inputs.

  19. A short circuit between either the 12 volt supply or ground pins, and the output or enable pins on any of those coin level sensors would cause havoc with the switch inputs, including the DIL switches. That's where I would be looking... Unplug the 50p level sensor from the loom and check for shorts between all four pins on the sensor. If there are any, that's what is causing the fault. Might be worth checking the other sensors as well.
