I've already posted these over at DIF but in case any of you don't frequent the place or a barred Gold Strike.zip Cash Pots.zip Money Belt.zip 2p Fiesta BFM.zip 2p Super Crown BFM (Crown).zip Maygay Sudden Impact [5p Play].zip Sting.zip Strike It Rich.zip Unknown ROMs.zip The "unknown ROMs" folder is mostly black box stuff I think but the hex editor isn't giving a lot away. If anyone can help identifying anything then please let me know.3 points

Hi, I have a slot machine from Competition Industries, Goldfinger. The coin rejector is missing (see photo). Does anyone know which rejector I need? The machine isn't working. Is it possible to get it going without a rejector? The parts look like Bally parts. greetings Eddy2 points

Looks nice Rob well worth spending time on these old fruits As we all know these are becoming hard to find these day. What did you use to polish the chrome work?2 points

Just a few pics of the Copperwin which was a full strip out of absolutely everything, buttons totally apart and cleaned, mechs cleaned all metal repowder coated and the chrome look coated, the frames and coin tray polished, PSU and boards taken out and updated. It was a disaster inside, the lower section had mouse bits in it, so a mess 🙈 but one of a few fun projects to do, but seeing you totally build a cab from was so so impressive! The finished cab really is just amazing. Even down to the t molding you used, tye stuff I've seen is plastic, you found (go knows how) rubber molding! Absolutely love it Wayne such a great job 🙂2 points

Cheers guys 🙂 Well just wanted to show what other machines distracted me from finishing the EWN Cheers Joe, well thats something I can't say I did (unfortunately!) It was a professional lad on the outskirts of Brum who did it, polishers are really hard to find nowadays, and he did a grand job on the frames and coin tray. I was talking to him about getting them chromed, and he suggested the polishing idea as it has the same affect at a fraction of the cost which was great! Yep I totally agree matey, these machines are harder to find, so spending all the time and effort to restore them is so worth it. Yep in the unlikely circumstances I ever needed to sell them on, I know I would lose on them, but for me its about saving them and trying to restore them the best we can. Sulzerned Nick polishes his cabs up beautifully, something I will need to try myself at some point which will be the icing on the cake 🙂 The Copperwin was a biggie, all the spade connectors cleaned, plastic crumbling housing replaces, bulb holders repaired where the clamping teeth had snapped, goes on and on always unearthing another problem. But its that feeling of the finished look and then powering it up that you stand back and think, those days equivalent in hours spent on this alone was totally worth it, plus its fun thing to do anyway 🙂 with teir 4 on the way (sorry lockdown again) for most, its also a great way to spend the time going mad by not going mad! Instant Replay was another fun one, just to get the frames off was a nightmare, I didn't know but the first mpu3 styled cab of that series, so unlike all the following machines which has hinged brackets to open the front up, the Instant Replay is screwed shut, and screws in places you just can't reach. Hours trying to get the frames off, and I have no idea how I did it, but put it back together again somehow too 🙈 Anyway, we all love these classic machines, the hours of love restoring them are so worth it 🙂👍 as Sulzerned Nick said, if its not for people like us all here, these machines wouldn't exist and would all be long gone.1 point

get a good quality switched mode psu, check the specs for input voltage range, output voltage and minimum out put load, expect you will be fine, especially if you can find one that will meet your 28 volt input. have fun, should last years and bring a sparkle back to that jukebox1 point

Hey Dotteddown (It looks like I've put these updates on the wrong thread as one was created for this restoration) whoops!!! So easy to do 🙂 and yeah wheeling them around is just the best! The chunky wood is from Homebase or Wickes (£3 and casters off ebay about £7/8 for set of 4), chop the wood to size and away you go 🙂 👍 on this one it had to be drilled through into the machine for stability, but its solid and around £10/11ish cheap to do, which is nice when we all initially pay hugely for the machines 🙂 Worth doing for sure, and quick. Cheers for the message 👍1 point
