    As a repairer I have to have confidence that the parts I'm using are 100%. With old chips, especially RAM, you can't be sure even with NOS (new old stock) stuff. The other thing, modern RAM is so much more reliable, cheaper and the biggest thing, easily available. Just for testing alone it's a no brainer and to be able to slot the board in as one piece and not two seperate chips it makes it quick and easy to swap.

    Nobles bought many of the Bell Fruit electro's to use as base machines for their conversions. Many of them were this style of cabinet.

    the law is the law, the gaming laws were in place for years, the problem that started all this ( & my rant was a warning ) is the bellends that bought 100 machines from an auction & started advertising them & saying "I have 100 odd machines ", the legal machine sellers that pay their licence fees are starving & have no business & no help from the government, these are the ones that are pissed off at the uneven playing field, its not fair & thats it !

    ive told the chruch to cancel the tombola as its a gambling device capable of giving a prize by way of a tin of beans or a toilet roll holder if a winning ticket is picked after youve paid and its spun i know they wouldnt want to get in bother with the GC lol
