Had an audio card in to repair and one of the problems was the O/P chip had been bent too and fro so many times and what with the rust on the pins it had started to come adrift. These devices LM2877P are unobtainable, at least at a sensible price so I had to see if I could salvage the chip. Once removed from the board it only had about 3 legs left and these were hanging on for dear life. In the end I tried this and it seems to be absolutely fine.... The short pins were cleaned and then soldered into the strip. A steady hand and a needle iron tip were needed. It now works a treat so let's hope it continues to do so.

After all this time, i thought i would clear something up : no one offered more than the asking price , and no mecca member was shafted by another to try and bag the machine over someone else the seller was sketchy even with me as you will see . here is the proof ...

swap out battery or wire it, should just be straight swap no security bs

For some reason I only drink lager in pubs and wouldn’t touch cider,but for some reason I drink cider indoors and can’t drink lager....just thought I’d share that valueless bit of info.
