  5. This was in one I have, it did have the 14k cpu card which was the last cpu card they made and it never looked changed in its life so perhaps the I/O REV4 assy no 045133 may be the last version???

  6. Don't know RIch. It would appear the later types (with 2xLEDs) are rev 3 & 4. I've not seen any later than that but as we all know that doesn't mean there aren't some lurking out there somewhere?

  9. 1N4003 will be fine, its only to stop any back emf in the reel motor so as to stop damaging the driver chips 4003 is 1A at 300v so will be well good enough to stop the 12v back emf, 1N4007 is 700v rating but still 1A

  10. True but I've got a shed load of 1N4003's so I was hoping that's what they used.

  16. Played it before around 35 years ago, a cross between MPS and sys80 if I'm not mistaken, did love the gamble on these though. Another rare machine turns up eh, wonder what else will πŸ˜‰

  17. Looks good Ron,are the clutches leather on this are just reels sandwiched between 2 metal washers.what is your method of making sure the correct reel goes with the correct board.

  18. Its the reel index solenoids and their associated parts. Remove the solenoids and clean the plungers and the coil inserts. do not use any lubricant when fitting back as that will make them stick. There is a small hole in the top of each solenoid, Make sure that is not blocked as must be kept clear. Check the solenoid springs are not broken and have enough to push the solenoid plunger down when released. they tend to get squashed over time.. finally remove the lift arms, there is only a spring clip holding them on, clean the brass bush and the shaft it fits on, you can use some grease to lubricate that part.
