  3. The good thing is with a genuine collector getting it like yourself, after its all up and running you won't be trying to punt it out for £2.5k, it will sit within your collection. You getting this over dealers who are screwing this game all together is a victory for the true enthusiasts & collectors...😎😎

  7. Jimmy offered Β£250 for it if fully working but he wouldn't have stood a chance at that. I'm always dubious of people who list machines as "fully working" but no pictures of them plugged in. I saw the two adverts, they were trying it on. I get that they want a few quid for it, but cut out the bullshit. So have you collected it yet Chris?

  9. Someone posted on FB Don't sell it to a collector. Most of them are sharks expecting something for next to nothing! I actually replied to his post calling him damn right rude. As a collector myself,i share my machines on YouTube and FB for everyone's enjoyment. I spoke to Nick Newton the seller. He actually said he had no knowledge and wanted to enquire about a valuation. His missus seemed a bit more money oriented as she kept saying people quoted 600 and 750 ! I actually told them, put it on ebay and I would risk a bid. When they plugged it in it tripped the electric! So they swapped a cable and she said it was working. Only when I asked for a video,I noticed as much as Graham did. No attract mode straight away. Speaking to Nick Newton later he said it lights up but that's it. No attract mode. Also,I think this has an attract sound too. They haven't got keys that open it either. He spoke to say it hasn't been switched on for a number of years and he couldn't remember when that even was. He appreciated my offer which he said wasn't as high as others estimates but when asked those others weren't interested in buying. As a working machine and after agreement by a good friend on here We came to the conclusion the fair valuation would be between 350-450. It doesn't work, but I didn't budge on my offer of 400. I think for the condition, and when I get it working I'll be pretty much on the money valuation wise. The bigger danger is if it isn't complete or the roms that could be battery damaged. I think its complete as its been in his aunts house since 1985 Must be positive though. Wish me luck!

  11. It doesn't work. It wasn't going into attract mode Graham. Not even the credit display was lit up. I got that video as well. I asked if the reels moved when they switched it on. They didn't know? She actual put sold on the listing once I we agreed on the price. But I did notice 2 listings on FB. She hasn't removed that, but the one with sold to me on got removed by admin I got told. One listing was by Nick Newton on one site The other was by his partner Jayne. There were a bunch of idiots up pricing and over valuing it but weren't even interested in it. That's what I hate about this. People haven't got a clue but want to put their bullshit opinion in as they don't want anyone to get a bargain. I have offered her way more than what Jimmy was offering tbf. I believe its worth saving, and worth keeping . The last thing I want is to tread on toes!

  12. Haha the bullshit gets worse. She said it was sold, I asked how much and she told me Β£500. Doesn't matter anyway, main thing is it went to a collector and not someone who'd try to flip it on for a quick buck. Well done mate!

  13. I'm glad a genuine collector like you got it Chris... Obviously those out for a quick earner realised without the knowledge to repair this they would shit out on this one if they bought it...😎
