well well well i have entered a journey for a jpm copperwin machine . a mecca member ,after winsprint reels were scanned in he cleaned up the images and sized them bang on to the originals. after many failed attempts trying to find a printer who could print the colour white on a transparent material , i found a company local who agreed to do me some reel bands on 220 micron transparent material, reverse printed , as they knew i was going to add a glitter layer . i want you all to learn from the mistakes ive made and hopefully together all the cockups will eventually end up with reel bands of various types being made . and then here are some youtube videos too . https://youtu.be/bo-6qxhkzUo https://youtu.be/l0ndfRFGdT4 onwards and upwards .... anyhelp or advice of what if anything i can do with my current bands ive made please let me know here are some pictures of the process2 points

Started on this Sherwood Coin BFM conversion tonight. Of the three coin acceptors, only one has a microswitch! All lit up, though. A good start. Further update tomorrow...1 point

I believe this expansion is because of the file format, when I did my pinball plastics I read that the only way to prevent this was by using a vector format, this uses point to point drawing and not pixels so it is 100% correct. Of course drawing in vector format Is a pain! But all I can say is it worked 100% for my pinball plastics!!!1 point

the glitter is sealed haha dont worry , but on making the bands glitter did indeed go everywhere lol the bands are unusable due to a artwork file error i believe , and not as a result of the glitter and printing material used i will update this thread with any progress stay safe everyone1 point

Certainly gone up in price. I bought mine for £50. Was so glad it went to a genuine collector. Theres something about these machines (for me) that make them stand out from others. I love the style of the artwork.1 point

You see it all the time now especially on Fb... People willing to throw loads of cash at machines to relive their youth.... then its boredom with it after a couple of days or it goes wrong and the value is less than half of what they paid when they try and move it on. Seen it all happen in classic cars...and with F1se bikes... once the dealers are involved its normally game over buying stuff for geniune collectors. Hopefully prices will comeback to a sensible level... £2500 for a Line Up on Fb last week.. fully workshopped it said.. it was covered in a wet look back to black sheen... It had a better wet look than Michael Jacksons hair do's... 🤣🤣.. not for me they can keep them..😎😎1 point

A fruity will only ever be worth as much as someone is prepared to pay. Whilst people are willing to pay silly money then the value will stay high. Remove the demand aspect and they’ll drop. I’d rather shit in my hand and clap than pay £2k for a machine. I’ve got some cracking EM’s in my collection but I’ve never spent more than £200 on one. That said, I’m learning to fly and that’s £200 per hour. I’ll skip 6 or 7 lessons and buy an EWS 😄1 point

Don't worry about it. As we know from previous experience it's very difficult to give a precise timescale, so there's no point in giving one as it just provokes the usual comments if/when it's missed. Suffice it to say, that it's making very good progress, and things are being tweaked/fixed on pretty much a daily basis. Patience is a virtue remember!1 point

Who really gives a poop where the topics are, as said there is a topic over there discussing mfme v5 also the majority of members with any major interest in emulation not just the leeching of layouts are here. Lastly afaik jeeves is a member on here and only here, maybe due to the loyalty of members and there's less bitch fights if any on here. When it's finally released I expect it'll be released across the forums so hold tight and let's not discourage any release dates in the future.1 point

I only upload resources here, to the download section, which openly encourages people to donate before they help themselves as it is a locked section.. This will hopefully keep the Mecca running for many years to come.1 point

I was a member of Fruit Emu, a good couple of years before i came here, but as I say, I (me, no one else has to) believe here is the spiritual home of MFME, not of emulation as such. Fruit Forums is long gone i am afraid. It makes sense to keep a possible release thread in one place and Chris has chosen the Mecca to be that it seems. It was a nightmare when Amber (1&2) was being talked about on FE and Dads, it gets confusing at times, plus there are way too many Bellends on Fruit Emu, that fortunately don't seem to migrate here, YET.1 point
