Don't forget Frank that you worked in the amusement industry in its golden age(late 70s and through 80s) along with the Arcades there was the computer and video game market flourishing at the same time and watching the tech grow over those years always a fascination of mine. Most on here would have been playing the machines you(and others) created back in the day(pubs,clubs,arcades) and when we all started reliving our youth 15-20 years ago by collecting and resorting machines and joining forums like this along with other like minded people we all learned off each other. To have an ex employee of JPM to come on here and share all those stories about how it all came together is for me as interesting(if not more)than the working of the machines themselves. Keep posting those memory's Frank they are a compulsive read. I think i speak for everyone on this forum.

  6. Very rare To find anything these days! Not as old as my usual stuff but hey beggers can't be choosers lol JPM Impact Casino Crazy non working, usual rotten cpu card! Thought I was sorted as I have 3 impact 3 boards but none of them work! I have no clean impact cpu cards so I guess I will have to try and repair one! I have probably 10 impact main boards!

  9. Potentially mate I've not used E-cervix so I don't know. A few SMD caps burning out simultaneously could mean an underlying fault

  10. "Appears complete bar the transformer...". Can any PS enthusiast confirm? There doesn't seem very much inside it, by Peter Simper standards. Transformer would be 240v:115v:12v I'm guessing. Could be done!

  12. Hi, I on £15 it should be ok with an s61.6 GAL in the socket on the battery side but I known other Roms it needs the s61.5 to work I think John player has one you might be able to compare too
