  1. No worries. I did like scorp 4 for those reels πŸ‘

  2. You make it sound like taking the reel out is a risky or precarious task whereas those starmaster reels were the very best for individual reel maintenance, they literally pull out /push back in as individual reels (power off please when doing either) as I tried to explain in post 2 above πŸ‘ make the most of that aspect cos it’s not the case on most other Fruties.

  3. I'm getting there! - in no time I have done quite a lot to it and I 'think' it is working properly. Lots of bulbs to change and cleaning to do but it works which is amazing, There is something wonderful about the simplicity of it! memorising in fact. So I have (so far): Replaced a few spade connectors Repaired the single/double odds sequence relay (microswitch retainer clip broken (see pic) and cam was not meeting the switches) now works perfectly Reel deck was lazy so overhauled the gearbox (now its amazing! thanks to Ron's post) Cleaned the wipers and contacts on each of the reels (was not seeing some awards) swapped a faulty relay stopping payout (need to source a relay somehow, thats my next challenge if not fixable) All good fun..... glad I got it anyhow.
