Thanks to you both. I just tried and no change .... looks like I do need ROMS if anyone has them I'd be very grateful but at least 20p's are now virtually 100% accept so its not as bad as when I first started 🙂

Well, well well. I've just checked the dips in my layout - dip 3 was up although it says it nothing in manual. So, switched if off.. guess what it gives change from 50p.

One very dirty machine but such a lucky find on my doorstep too! Had been in the same house for way over 25 years maybe more! I’ll post once refurbished and up and running 😊 looks an interesting machine too.

Don't look too bad.Normally first thing with rot on mpu4 affects payout slides.they are the tracks under the battery.give it a good scrub and rinse or the rot will carry on

Whats this button for then? I noticed a blank next to the 3 central buttons and this must be why - is there really a 20p stake option on this 5p a go game, anyone know? I cant wait to play it but will be a while - the machine has a distinct smell of booze and fags and little mice have been present at some point (but no damage thank god!) - its the worse in terms of grime I have yet come across, BUT I quite like that it adds to the genuine nature of a long time standing machine, very very original. There is a small cabinet repair bottom right but I have that on my Lucky Strike too so I wonder what happened, theft maybe?

Had a chat with Mick and with a little bit more luck the board might be OK (miraculously) here is are 3 pics showing battery on, battery off and then a clean - I am optimistic 🤞
