  1. Machine was stripped down (photo), first job was knocking up a plinth with a lot of help from Russ (a carpenter friend of mine) and many thanks to duffy here on the forum for kindly sending me photos and measurements of his plinth (cheers!). Its the most substantial plinth I have seen on a machine yet! As soon as I collected the machine up I could tell it did not look right and was really low, almost unbalanced looking like it could topple over even - sitting play position maybe? who knows, but I aim to restore to the right play height and look đź‘Ť More pics to follow as i progress....

  2. Picked up an old clubber pontoon last week, wasn’t cheap but looked a decent machine so I went for it (not so lucky as my last find, Multiplay, which was a classic and FOC, oh and on my doorstep not a 3hr drive away! lol). For those interested I’m giving it some TLC including making a new plinth and a powder coat (and the usual damm good clean!) I’ll also change to £150/20p (got the decal set). Good news so far MPU4 is ok as is PSU so it all works. Coin mech is with Ron already to do his magic (cheers Ron). Here it was as collected, will share pics as it progresses. Looking forward to playing this one, not one I came across in the wild although I did play Blackjack.

  3. The other oddity Nick was the award panel glass is not original, if you look at the 3rd pic in the OP you will see it’s framed with black pvc tape! I’ve tried some mirror spray as a much nicer effect but may consider a Perspex frame to try and match back to original. I’ll share pics when done I think it will look ok. This is what it should look like (ignore the inner award panel I have those it’s the frame artwork that’s gone and just a plain piece of glass). I suspect it got broken at so,e stage in service.
