Been faffing with a bulb failure only to find the diode leg had fell out and would not stay put. I’ve pushed a small piece of solid strand cable in and it’s held the leg and all working 👍 easy when I put my specs on lol 😂 Amazingly only about 3 of the holders in this machine have broken clips and they appear to still be quite malleable.

Reassembly stage is always the best 👍 Cleaning all done, re-attached all the cable clips, dressed back nicely the cables bla bla bla The big reveal tomorrow of the “black edition” pontoon from April 1989, stay tuned lol My OCD is having difficulty with a beer stain I can’t reach on the top glass inner feature loop - without taking the whole mask off (too risky for the artwork) lucky for me I can’t see it unless I tip toe thanks to the new plinth! Picked up an old clubber pontoon last week, wasn’t cheap but looked a decent machine so I went for it (not so lucky as my last find, Multiplay, which was a classic and FOC, oh and on my doorstep not a 3hr drive away! lol). For those interested I’m giving it some TLC including making a new plinth and a powder coat (and the usual damm good clean!) I’ll also change to £150/20p (got the decal set). Good news so far MPU4 is ok as is PSU so it all works. Coin mech is with Ron already to do his magic (cheers Ron). Here it was as collected, will share pics as it progresses. Looking forward to playing this one, not one I came across in the wild although I did play Blackjack.

Yeah agree Tony luckily this one is not blocked I don’t think, is it? There is a switch to limit to a tenner and I did gamble £7 x 12 when I first got it home (but lost of course 😂) Adders is not blocked either got the jackpot from a cherry on that.

looks good martin its a real shame so many of the clubbers had the dreaded gamble block or im sure they would be in much more of demand 😏

That looks like a Club Pontoon with a Club Connect win panel in it. Yours with the tape on appears to be the correct win panel. I'm sure it will look great whatever you do, you've done a fab job so far.

Plinth on 😊 I’ve had the frames done in black, many will disapprove for authenticity/originality but I think it looks stunning - reveal coming very soon lol
