    All sorted Bob and MPU3 is working fine, I managed to get some RAM for under $4 a pop from the USA (unlike the £25 a chip they wanted here!!!) arrived bloody quick too ! happy days and thanks again.

    You need to reinstall the Gamesoftware via the CF card slot. It needs a battery fitted to retain the software/setup when it's switched off.

    Apparently if you get any gamecard from a different MPU5 machine and put that in it should clear the ram.
