  1. Well just for fun I popped a £100 bid on this one and I won it lol. Was not expecting much but in parts alone its worth that all day long so I was happy to win it, and its good to get to fix problems AND see a machine I have never played before and can't find much about on the web either. It landed yesterday (courier) and on powering up just alarmed. I spent a bit of time checking the obvious and soon uncovered the 3 issues to get it working (having other MPU4 spares and machines is invaluable in this fault finding thats for sure!): PSU had no 34v (yet to diagnose) Reel power lead had a bad connection Reel 1 was rubbing The machine is really tidy, ALL instructions, decals were with it (thank god as this is NOTHING like a normal Barcrest machines, even to test!). Main thing value wise is a fully working clean MPU4 mod 2. Not sure how far I go on this one, or if it becomes parts (don't shoot me I will keep it all in a state to rebuild if ever needed). We shall see after some play once I am finally sorted with room to house my growing collection lol Here is a quick vid on youtube, I will post more if its worthwhile when I explore more features and gameplay time permitting.

  2. Fixed the PSU this morning, nice and easy the 4700 cap had gone short on the 34v line, I like easy fixes like that 🙂

  3. Cool! Great work on the JPM driver I did some early tests a while back where I drove Arcade Sim fruit machines using MFME and MAME, this shows switching between the emulators (shows current emulator in top right): I need to do more work but I can get it more tightly integrated now I think (using libRetro MAME) - MAME will probably end up being the default emulator for fruits due to much tighter integration, save states, rewinds, all that good stuff (MFME is done via window capture, it's kinda flakey), with MFME for enthusiasts to run machines not yet working in MAME... Any plans for further drivers..? I'm going to perhaps revamp those internal layouts other than the MPU4 ones for David, so there should hopefully be layouts for some... plus I may do another version of the converter to generate these internal debug layouts for Sc5/MPU5 and other newer techs...

  4. I uploaded them to DIF ages ago. A guy called Andy was going to work on it. Check DIF. J
